00We are looking for a CT tech that can do both CT and X-rays for our client based in Crawford County.
This candidate does not need to be CT certified but must be experienced in CT and able to perform exams on their own.
Summary:
Candidate is responsible for producing high quality images and or diagnosis for specified patient population.
The technologist must be able to operate all technical x-ray and mammography equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs for radiologists interpretation.
The technologist must be able to perform all routine and emergency x-rays
Essential Functions:
Responsible for all x-ray equipment operation and calibration process Explains procedure to patient before starting exam Able to prepare and position patient correctly for specific examinations Reads orders and the suspected pathology to make sure the correct est are performed Maintain skills in the treatment and care for all patients and understand techniques for different ages demonstrates adherence to radiation safety policies and procedures in daily practice.
and consult with radiation safety officer regarding radiation safety issues Performs other duties as assigned by the imaging Director Radiological mammographic procedures is required Knowledge of Mammography equipment Knowledge of MQSA and ACR regulations ARRT Certification RT (R) (M) required CPR certification is required PI226678577 Recommended Skills Cpr Calibration Imaging Medical Emergency Pathology American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Certified Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
